Built in Hulhumalé. Playing anywhere the whistle blows.
West End Sports Club — founded May 2024 — is a dynamic organisation dedicated to empowering Hulhumalé youth and fostering a thriving sports community in the Maldives. With a focus on talent development and community engagement, the club has quickly established itself as a leading force in local sport.
Who we are.
We're a vibrant, active sporting organisation based in Hulhumalé — committed to fostering youth development through sports. Talent, regardless of background, is what we're built around.
In our first year, we've fielded sides in futsal tournaments and 3x3 basketball challenges, planted a flag at the West End Futsal Tournament, and built enthusiasts — on and off the pitch — a platform for showcasing talent, promoting sportsmanship, and enhancing community engagement.
We're open to partnering with organisations and corporations that share our commitment to community engagement and sustainable youth development. Those collaborations enhance the club's impact and create lasting benefits for our local community.

For the community.
WESC is committed to making a positive impact on the local community through its various initiatives and programs. Our involvement in sports events — including Futsal Challenges and other tournaments — has provided opportunities for youth to showcase their athletic skills and develop their sports careers.
We also play a role in promoting social responsibility. The club's exposure to industry professionals offers its members and players valuable networking opportunities, while providing companies with a platform to reach targeted audiences.
Our philosophy centres on empowering youth, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive sports culture — a place where aspiring athletes can play, compete, and grow.
